BBB-03 Beauty of a Gift

Welcome to the Bring Back Beautiful Challenge for October!
As we get closer to the season of giving, let’s take the wraps off your creativity to come up with beautiful ways to gift give. Do you have a fun template for a beautiful box? Or, do you have a beautiful presentation for gift cards? Show us what you’ve got!

For this challenge, I chose to decorate a gift to go along with a matching card. I used the Fanciful Flourishes set. I just love those damasks! I did the stamping with Rangers Distress Inks (Peeled Paint), and decorated with lace, satin ribbon and pearls.

Link up your Bringing Back Beautiful Challenge card here to enter. If you upload to SCS, please use the keyword BBB03. You have until October 30th to enter!

As we unveil our challenge for next month, we’ll share our True Beauties – those card makers who wowed us with this challenge! Winners will be featured on the Flourishes Blog and will receive a True Beauty blog button to display proudly on their blog!
And last but not least; have a look at these beauties:

Beate Johns
Becca Feeken
Cindy Coutts
Julie Koerber
Kathy Jones
Michelle Woerner

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Yvonne, I viewed your blog for the first time today and your creations are just so lovely! I also noticed on your blog that your sister is in the Army - have you every visited the Operation Write Home site? www.operationwritehome.org
We make cards and send them blank to the various areas of deployment for our heroes to write in and send to their family and friends. We also have the Stars and Stamps blog for cardmakers - www.owhstarsandstamps.org.

It is a wonderful cause and it is where almost all of my cards go. It is also a wonderful home for any cards you may not know what to do with! I hope you will visit our blogs - perhaps you may want to have some cards sent to your sister's unit!

Thank you again for the joy of visiting your blog and seeing all your beautiful work! Blessings

So pretty. Lots of white always adds so much elegance to your piece. It's an art to leave white space and have it visually pop the way you do.
