Welcome to the Bring Back Beautiful challenge for September!
As the leaves start to change colors to usher in fall, we want to see your rustic beauty. Interpret this challenge however you like – want to use a little distressing? Want to use shades of rust? Want to use things that look aged or antiqued? You choose! Just make sure the end result has a rustic feel to it!
I chose to create a set of tiny cards for this challenge. I just love to make tiny cards! I used the Cherry Blossoms stamp set, and did the coloring with Rangers Distress Ink.
To give them a rustic feel, I used Spellbinders Deckled Rectangles. I also did a lot of sponging and some hand-stitching to finish them off.
Please link up your Bring Back Beautiful Challenge card here . If you upload to SCS, please use the keyword BBB02. You have until September 30th to enter! As we unveil our challenge for next month, we’ll share our True Beauties – those card makers who wowed us with this challenge! Winners will be featured on the Flourishes Blog and will receive a True Beauty blog button to display proudly on their blog!
Last, but not least; You`ll have to check out what the rest of the team made! You will LOVE these beauties:
Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a wonderful week!
