Goldfinch!

Happy Tuesday!
Summer vacation is over, and soon the kids will be back at school... Even though It`s sad to see the summer fade, It`s great to get back to everyday-routines!
I`ve spent the last couple of days getting organized before everyone is off to school and work:)
For the card I`m sharing today, I`ve used a GORGEOUS image from Serendipity called Goldfinch. I decided to do the monochromatic look and colored it in different shades of blue, using Distress Inks.

I kept the layout pretty simple, and added some piercing around the edges. I also added some Distress Ink (Antique Linen) to the edges to give it more of an aged look.
The outer border is made from the Lotus Borderabilities Petite Die Template by Spellbinders.

As always - thank you so much for stopping by!

aw....Yvonne, another "beauty", your cards have such a wonderful calming effect, love the "blues" here!..you are the master with layering/color combo and of course painting..you have it all girl!

...gotta get to my crafting table and make something NEW myself. WANT several of those NEW Nestablities that just came out, especially the GRANDE line....but they're pricey, so I'll have to wait a while.

Dette kortet er utrolig vakkert. Jeg like den monokrome stilen og disse blåtonene var helt herlig.
Ønsker deg noen flotte siste dager før hverdagen starter for fullt.
