Soaring Eagle

Finally Friday!

I`ve always loved the shabby vintage style, especially when It`s done by those who really know how to! I must admit though, that I`m not one of those...LOL! It just don`t come easy to me! Anyway, I really wanted to give it a try, and this is how it turned out.

I used the beautiful Soaring Eagle image by Heartfelt Creations. It is colored with distress inks and cut out. I used Spellbinders dies to create the frame, and the background is cuttlebug embossed. I also added clear EP on the embossed areas and heat embossed. Papers from Cosmo Cricket.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you`ll have a wonderful weekend!!

WOWZERS! The colors, the lace, the COOL Nesties...and I LOVE the cross charm. For someone that has a hard time doing the shabby chic look, I'd say that you've pulled it off here fantastically!

You never cease to amaze me Yvonne...your work is so inspiring. Everytime I see you have posted a new creation I can't visit fast enough. Your card is beautiful and you added a lovely touch of shabby and vintage. It's funny I wish my creations were more elegant like yours instead of at times a bit too shabby:) We are so hard on ourselves some times aren't we....must be girl thing, lol. Have a wonderful weekend:)

I'm in a love/hate relationship with digital memory because of the way prices are always dropping. I hate buying SDs for my R4 / R4i at (what seems to be) a crazy bargain price only to see it become a whole lot cheaper a couple of weeks later.

Hi Yvonne,

Love this design (just like every other!)...I TOO! don't "think" vintage as much as I've tried! ... but your "style" is SO unique to YOU that there is no worries here!

Keep posting all the beautiful designs to keep me inspired!
