Bunch Of Daisies

Happy Sunday!

I hope you`re not completely intimidated by the colors of this card... Orange is in fact my daughters favorite color, and she suggested that I should do a card in that color. And...so I did!

I colored the image with Marvy Le Plume Markers and Distress Inks, and aged it a bit with Vintage Photo (Distress Ink).
And as you see, I`ve got my brand NEW spellbinders dies!! Oh boy, do I ever love those lacey dies! They are actually square shaped, but I made them a bit longer to fit the image.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Goldfinch!

Happy Tuesday!
Summer vacation is over, and soon the kids will be back at school... Even though It`s sad to see the summer fade, It`s great to get back to everyday-routines!
I`ve spent the last couple of days getting organized before everyone is off to school and work:)
For the card I`m sharing today, I`ve used a GORGEOUS image from Serendipity called Goldfinch. I decided to do the monochromatic look and colored it in different shades of blue, using Distress Inks.

I kept the layout pretty simple, and added some piercing around the edges. I also added some Distress Ink (Antique Linen) to the edges to give it more of an aged look.
The outer border is made from the Lotus Borderabilities Petite Die Template by Spellbinders.

As always - thank you so much for stopping by!
