A birthday card

This is a birthdaycard for a very special friend of mine. She has the most beautiful arab horse, and when we were younger we went horseback riding almost every day.
So at least I know she will love the image, which by the way is from Inkadinkado, colored with Distress inks. I`m also entering this card to the "Bit o`Bling" challenge at Cute card thursday.

Sweet Peas...

Today I have made a card with the gorgeous Sweet Peas set from Flourishes. I absolutely love that set. Its so elegant. As usual I have colored the image with distress inks, and as you see I have used a few nestabilities...
Since I had some extra time today, I have also simply decorated the inside of the card...which I have never done before!

Spring is sprung!

It`s definitely spring here now, so here is a spring card, even if I did not use traditional spring colors on this one...
I tried to make my own "DP" by using the same stamp several times on the background (Serendipity). Colored with distress inks.

Vintage baby

Finally I found the time to make a card! This one is for the challenge at The cuttlebug spot. The challenge is to use a window or frame on your project. I`ve used vellum and lace to frame my image. I`ve also used some CB embossingfolders. The image is from Serendipity, colored with Distress inks.

OCC- color challenge

This card is for the color challenge at Our Creative Corner. The rose image is a piece of a larger stamp from Inkadinkado. I have used it several times before, but I love it so much, and I never get tired of roses... They are colored with Distress Inks. Papers from Melissa Frances.

Cute card thursday

Today I have finally had the time to make a card for the floral fantasy challenge at Cute card thursday! These last few weeks have been sooo busy. A lot of working and several birthdays, weddings, confirmations... Spring is always very busy, but oh so lovely!!

This card actually started out as one of my "pretty" ones, but ended up totally straight and kind of masculine!! Well, whatever *LOL*.
The stamp is from Motivet, layered. Papers from Sassafras Lass and Kaisercraft.

We have a few weddings coming up this spring and summer, so this time I`ve made a rather quick and simple wedding card, with no colouring:) Quite unusual for me, but fun for a change. Text from Serendipity, swirls are grungeboard with glimmermist.

Old country scene...

I fell in love once I saw this country scene from Serendipity. I just think it looks so peaceful. I`ve only used different shades of brown colouring it (and yellow for the sun), trying to create an old feeling. Papers from Graphic 45.

Sweet peas...

When I see Sweet Peas, I think of country garden and old lace... Thats what inspired me to do this card in a vintage style. The gorgeous Sweet Peas stamp is from Flourishes, and I have distressed the edges with Distress Inks. The image is also coloured with distress Inks as usual:)

Just another card...

Not too much to say about this one, since I have forgotten where the stamp came from... This was actually one of the first stamps I ever bought:) I have as usual coloured the image with distress, and as you see I have used some nesties, and the background is embossed vellum.

This card is for a challenge at Flourishes. The challenge is to use a sentiment, word or quote as the focal point of your card. The quote I`ve used is a stamp from Serendipity, and of course I had to add some flowers...:) Coloured with distress.

A personal challenge...

I have given myself a personal challenge. -Not to use flowers of any kind *lol*. So then I decided to do a male card....with a car!!! And this is how it turned out...
The car stamp is from KH design, papers from Graphic 45, and the straps were made from cardstock, eyelets and some metal embellishements.

Sukkersøtt # 29

Oppgaven hos Sukkersøtt denne uken er å ramme inn motivet på kortet. Jeg har brukt punch fra Fiskars til å ramme inn dette motivet fra Penny Black. Liker motivet veldig godt, men det er digert, så det er ikke plass til så mye annet... Fargelagt med Distress og Le Plume.

The Challenge this week at Sukkersøtt, is to frame your motif. I`ve used punch from Fiskars to frame mine. The image is from Penny Black, and I love it, but it`s so huge there`s not room for much other stuff... Coloured with Distress and Le Plume.

Another flower challenge...

I really needed some colours, and I made this card for the flower challenge at Flourishes. The magnolia flowers were made with Flourishes stamps, and I used pink and green stamp pad for a more "hand painted" look. Then coloured with different mediums. I have also added tiny pearls and butterflies.

Stamp ARTic technique callenge

I made a christmas card for the technique challenge at Stamp ARTic. Poinsetta stamp from Flourishes, Swirl stamp from Stempelglede.

A new card.

First of all I want to say thank you for the awards I have been given! I really appreciate it even if I have`nt been passing them on!

On this card I`ve used stamps from Rubber Stampede and Stempelglede. The cornes are gold embossed, and I have also used gold cardstock even if it does not show on the picture.

Bare et lite kort jeg har laget i dag. Egentlig ikke min vanlige "stil", men jeg synes bare dette stempelet er så søtt. Ha en fortsatt fin kveld!

Håper dere har hatt en fin julefeiring! Vi har kost oss masse, selv om det har blitt litt jobbing også... Jeg har laget et enkelt kort innimellom feiringen. Stemplene jeg har brukt til dette kortet er fra Stempelglede, Serendipity og Flourishes. Ramme stempelet er embosset og malt.

The challenge this week at Cute card thursday is to use punches. I`ve used flower punches on stamped flowers. The flowers and the text stamp is from Stempelglede. The text says "Friendship makes the soul blossom".

The callenge this week at Arty Girlz is to use your favourite medium. My favourite has to be my distresses. Use them on every card... The image is stamped and embossed several times, cut out and layered for a 3d effect. Painted with distress. The frame is cut out with the cricut.

Da hiver jeg meg på en utfordring til, jeg:) Arty Girlz utfordring var å bruke ramme i et prosjekt. Stempelet (syrinbusken) er fra Flourishes.
