Thanksgiving....

If I can do Christmas in July, I can certainly do Thanksgiving too, right!?
This sweet little pumpkin image, and text are both from Heartfelt Creations. The pumpkins are gold embossed and colored with Distress inks. I have used papers from Cosmo Cricket, and lots of stitches.... Border punch from Martha Stewart. And I think that`s about it.

Just to let you know, I`m going on vacation in a couple of days (FINALLY!!), so it might be a little quiet around here...
I hope all of you are enjoying the summer too, thanksgiving is yet far away...luckily:o)

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

OCC ~ Pet parade

This weeks challenge over at Our Creative Corner, is to use a pet or an animal on your card. I guess you can call this little cutie a pet, at least for a small child, so I`m entering this card to the challenge.
The image is from Serendipity Stamps, and as soon as I saw this little pal, I was in love :-)
And what I also love about it, is that it can be used for so many occasions.
As usual I have colored it with Distress Inks.

Have a great evening, and thanks so much for stopping by!!

Sweet Peas Paper Wallet!

As you see, I have a slightly different project to share today... It is a paper wallet! With a sweet image from Flourishes in the "window". I am entering this "card" to the "by the sea" challenge at Flourishes. After all, the Sweet Peas are blue...*lol*.
I thought this wallet would be great for moneygifts, and this is how I did it:

I made a foldercard from plain, brown cardstock. Made the oval window with a nestabilities die. Ran it through the cuttlebug to emboss it.
Then, I distressed it with Walnut Stain. At the end I clear embossed the whole thing to give it a realistic look. The straps were made with a gorgeous (I think) "Burberry" paper, eyelets and buckles.
The wallet is held together with a metall brad and a small magnet.
Oh, and the image is colored with Distress Inks.

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Autumn Corsage

In fear of ruining the wonderful summer feeling, I have made a card in autumn colors!
I must admit though, that I hope that autumn is far away...:o)
The gorgeous autumn corsage image is from Heartfelt Creations. It is colored as usual with distress inks, and layered for the 3d effect. I have also used a lot of gold embossing and bling... and some glossy accents for the berries.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, and enjoy the summer!!
